1st Mate with Oceans willing to relocate, needs a security clearance.
Needed as soon as possible: (Must be a US Citizen) MATE 500T+ (Oceans) to sail as a 1st Mate working with a private company contracted long term (through summer 2021, with possibility of renewal) with the US NAVY. Laid back work atmosphere. Must have or obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Relocation to Japan required. Civilian crew working vessel. Schedule is 5 days/week, except when at sea (OT/Bonus structured if necessary) Salary is $90,000.00/year.

As part of the contract, each employee receives the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the U.S. government and the Japanese Government. What that means is that all crew members operating under this contract are eligible to utilize Navy base facilities. They are able to shop in the commissary and exchange. They are able to put gas at the base gas stations. They are able to obtain a P.O. Box on base.
Everyone attached to this contract must live off base and out in town. One crew member is renting a 3 bedroom apartment for $690/month. Water is included in the rent. Electricity is $100/month and Cable/Internet services is $60/month. For transportation, each individual must purchase a vehicle. Cost of a well-kept used car usually runs between $1500-$3000.
